Two-day’s Annual Sports Meet- Lakshya 2022-23 concluded with enthusiasm
Swami Vivekananda International School [CBSE] on 19th and 20th November with School’s Mentor Mr. D.D Patil, Mr. Jitendra Thakur, Mr. Umesh Kate, Mr. Jaywant Thakur, Shri.Vinod Amritkar, Shri. Sanjay Patil, Mr. Sunil Wagh, Mrs. Jasmin Barucha, School Management Committee Member Mrs. Achal Agrawal Mrs. Sitika Agrawal Mrs. Mamta Aggarwal, Chairman of the school Shri. Neeraj Agarwal as well as the principal of the school Shri. HemantKumar Deore attended the event.
The chief guests were welcomed by the principal of the school with bouquets and ttoken of love
At the beginning of the program, the lamp was lit by the chief guest, after which the school’s sports meetbwas inaugurated by releasing balloons in the air by all the dignitaries. At that time, the students of the school welcomed the guests very well by march past, bowing and lighting the torch, after which the students performed an excellent dance.
All the students of pre-primary, primary and secondary sections participated in the annual sports Meet The students were classified into four types according to the houses i.e. Agni, Akash, Prithvi and Trishul.
On the first day, students of pre-primary, first and second classes participated in all sports events.
On the second day, the students of class 3rd to 10th participated in the sports matches.
Various games were organized in the programs then.
On the first day of the sports match=
Hurdle Race, Zigzag Race, Sack Race, Eating Biscuit, Numbering Games,
Many games were organized like collecting objects, solving puzzles, collecting water with sponge, catch the ball, tug of war etc. Many students participated in it then.
The next day at the sports match=
100, 200, 400 meters running,
Many sports like sack race, javelin throw, slow cycling, 50×4 v 100×4 meter relay race were organized. Then all the players were playing the game by putting their skills to the test, there were many tough matches, students and parents crowded the field to watch the matches, the program was conducted with discipline and enthusiasm. At that time, after playing the entire game, the prize distribution program was held in the school playground. Then the house “Agni” won the ‘first number’. In this all the winning students were awarded certificates and three types of medals namely gold, bronze and silver by the chief guest.
The Chief Guest while guiding the students explained the importance of sports and guided them on how to become better sportsmen. Due to Principal ”s tireless work and guidance, the program was conducted more successfully. Also sports teacher Mr. Sunil Karandikar Ms. Mamta Patil, Ms. Harshada Suryavanshi’s guidance, hard work and cooperation proved valuable. All the teaching staff and non-teaching staff got valuable support for the successful completion of the entire program. Hemant Kumar Deore thanked the chief guests, teachers and all the students present. The program was anchored by Mrs. Nisha Patil, Mrs. Rajshree Desale, Mrs. Nayana Patil and Mr. Mahesh Jethwa. The program was concluded with the national song.
