Swami Vivekananda International School have organised an Investiture ceremony on 29th August 2022, with full zeal & zest and enthusiasm. The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school cabinet. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the new office bearers. To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of the functioning of the administrative body, a school prefectorial board was formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection. The special guests are Subhedar Dharamveer Singh, from 49th NCC Battalion, Subhedar Jasbeer Singh and Police Inspector Mr Jaypal Hire, members from management body, Mr Bajrang Agrawal sir, Mr Neeraj Agrawal, Ms Mamata Agrawal, Principal Mr Hemantkumar Deore, parents graced the occasion. The ceremony started by worshipping Maa Saraswati and offering garlands to Major Dhyanchand. Students came in the getup of different players like Sania Mirza, Milkha Singh, Sachin Tendulkar etc. and talked about their life history in short. The school Head Boy, Head Girl the Sports Captain, Discipline Head, Cultural Head, Library Head House Captains and Prefects were conferred with badges, sashes and flags by Subhedar Dharamveer Singh and the student’s parents. After that, March-pass was organized, under the guidance of Mr Sunil Karandikar and Ms Harshada Suryawanshi, by different houses of the school, as each house with their battalion took a circle of the field representing their colour flag on the hand of the house captain leading the troop.

A garland of motivational words was delivered by the esteemed guest Subhedar, Dharamveer Singh. In his speech, sir appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities for the students to take part in activities like these. He guided Student Council Members to be role models and render their responsibilities sincerely as the nation builders of tomorrow to be proud to be Indian. He also advised the students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline, determination and most important respect for parents and teachers as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow and also administered the oath to newly constituted Student Council Members. By addressing the audience he stressed that the presence of parents is more important than showering the children with presents.

Mr Jaypal Hire elaborated on the term SMART to imbibe in a child’s upbringing. He also emphasized time management, discipline and self-management. The Principal, Mr Hemankumar Deore wished the student leaders in completing the responsibilities entrusted to them in the year ahead. He also mentioned the efforts taken by the School in promoting children’s democratic and social skills and offered his support in the future. His words of advice were highly motivating to the students. He guided parents, teachers and children to build up healthy relationships, which help them in further development and success. The programme was a grand success.
