Students at Swami Vivekananda International School (CBSE) celebrated Navratri by playing Dandiya.
Amalner; Swami Vivekananda International School (CBSE) celebrated Dandiya Utsav by the students of the school on the occasion of Navratri Festival on Friday, 30th September. The chief guest for the program was Mrs. Kanchan Shah and Mrs. Mr. Nayana Navsarikar Mr. D.D Patil, Chairman of school Mr. Neeraj Agarwal, School Committee Members Mrs. Mamta Agarwal, Mrs. Seetika Agarwal, Mrs. Achal Agarwal, and Principal Mr. Hemantkumar Deore were also present. After worship of Goddess Durga sudents of the school participated in Dandiya in traditional attire. On this occasion there was a spontaneous response from students and parents. A competition was organized. The students of pre-primary, primary and secondary sections participated then. An Opportunity for participation was also given to the parents. Everyone enjoyed playing Dandiya and finally the winning students as well as their parents were given prizes and appreciated. On this occasion, Principal Mr. Hemantkumar Deore, Principal guided the audience. The program was coordinated by Ms. Saloni Jain, Ms. Nisha Patil and Mr. Rahul Shirasath. All the teaching staff and non-teaching staff of the school provided valuable support for the success of the program.
