British Council
Swami Vivekananda International School, in collaboration with the British Council, UK-based organization, is conducting activities with the international dimension. Our school got connected with three foreign schools from China, Israel & Japan. The students have a golden opportunity to interact with the students of these three nations. The students from 1st to 10th will carry out different collaborative & in-house activities with a global perspective like skit presentations in assemblies, questionnaires based on crop production in India & China in different seasons, the importance of cleanliness and its impact in India & Japan, learning various technical methods to conserve water & the proper utilization of water, peer assessments on water conservation techniques, teachers’ reports, students’ presentations on various topics of water conservation like role plays, seminars, etc.
The questionnaire will be based on different water conservation methods between India & Israel, the significance of sports & their role in maintaining good health between India & the USA, and a comparative study between India & the USA on various techniques of playing games. Students will gain a deep understanding of the key role of women in family building, society building, and nation-building across the world.
Activities also include quizzes on global warming, peer assessments on global climate, and quizzes on different cultures & traditions across the world. The evidence of these activities will be shared with countries like China, Israel & Japan.
